Curriculum Development Supervisor

To supervise the overall operation of the unit and ensure that the unit operates continuously as per the company policies and procedures. Additionally, be the main point of contact for internal and external customers and be responsible for the recruitment / development of staff.

Develop new or amended curriculum as needed.
Provide continuous curriculum development services for training departments.

1. Liaise closely with SPSP QA, Academic and Technical departments to understand and meet the need for new or amended curriculum.
2. Assist with regular reviews of existing Academic Program and Job Skills curriculum currently in use at SPSP and to recommend amendment or improvement as required.
3. Liaise closely with SPSP QA department to ensure that curriculum meets the standard required by SPSP and its clients.
4. Participate in conducting training needs analysis where required at SPSP or at its clients.
5. Assist with sourcing and reviewing appropriate published texts and software that may be used at SPSP in support of SPSP’s broad training objectives.
6. Participate as appropriate in the introduction of technology within the training process including in the use of Smart Learning Technology.
7. Ensure that SPSP curriculum of Academic Programs and Technical Programs remains current, relevant, and appropriate to SPSP’s stakeholders and customers.
8. Participate in SPSP External Reviews of its customers to ensure that as far as possible SPSP curriculum meets the needs of SPSP’s clients.

BS degree or equivalent in instructional design or curriculum development

5+ years experience in instructional design or curriculum development
5+ years’ experience in the design and development of academic or technical vocational programs
