In preparation for national and international skills competitions, SPSP held the first skills competition for SPSP trainees in 8 disciplines across 3 training centers in Dammam and Al-Khafji.The competition started on November 14 and registration was open for all trainees at SPSP. For each workshop, three participants were qualified for the finals which took place in Dammam on November 24. Disciplines of the competition were electrical, mechanical, welding, pipefitting, instrumentation, scaffolding, rigging and crane operation.The process of how judges determined the winners was based on their technical experience and some judges’ experience in national and international competition skills.
