Curriculum Development Analyst - Technical

Job Description

• Liaise closely with SPSP Curriculum Development Team Leader to understand and meet the need for new or amended curriculum.
• Assist with regular reviews of existing Academic Program and Job Skills curriculum currently in use at SPSP and to recommend amendment or improvement as required.
• Liaise closely with SPSP Assessment Department to ensure that SPSP Curriculum and Learning objectives are appropriately aligned with assessment and vice versa.
• Liaise closely with SPSP QA department to ensure that curriculum meets the standard required by SPSP and its clients.
• Participate in conducting training needs analysis where required at SPSP or at its clients.
• Assist with sourcing and reviewing appropriate published texts and software that may be used at SPSP in support of SPSP's broad training objectives.
• Participate as appropriate in the introduction of technology within the training process including in the use of Smart Learning Technology.
• Ensure that SPSP curriculum of Academic Programs and Technical Programs remains current, relevant, and appropriate to SPSP's stakeholders and customers.
• Participate in SPSP External Reviews of its customers to ensure that as far as possible SPSP curriculum meets the needs of SPSP's clients.

Skills

• Technical Degree/Diploma in a related technical field
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications. Database management is desirable
• A recognized teaching qualification is desirable.

• Minimum of a Master's Degree in Curriculum Design or other appropriate qualification
• Extensive experience in curriculum design and development, preferably within a vocational training context
• Experience in the development of technical training needs analysis
• Experience in the development and production of assessment
• Relevant experience in the design and delivery of technical vocational programs ideally for the oil and gas sector
• Knowledge and experience of Arab learners
• Teaching/professional experience in the Gulf region would be a distinct advantage Excellent IT skills and ability to work to deadlines
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentational skills
• Native English Speaker
