Job Purpose
To conduct Performance Assessments of Contractor’s Staff as part of a pre-screening process for working on Saudi Aramco projects.
The Technical Assessor is responsible for the development, implementation, reporting and analysis of all certifications as assigned.
Working as part of the Certification Team the Technical Assessor will ensure that the written/performance sections of the certifications are developed and maintained as per the company policy for the following disciplines; Rigging, Crane Operator and Heavy Equipment Operator.
- Cary out Heavy Equipment Performance Assessment for H.E, for instance (Telehandler, Traxcavator, Wheel Loader, Pipe Loader, Straddle Carrier, Forklift, Skid Loader, Backhoe Loader, Grader, Bulldozer Side Boom, ....)
Functional Duties
- Assist to develop written and practical assessments in their field of expertise.
- Ensure that all assessments are completed efficiently and professionally.
- Complete the analysis of all assessments.
- Take on Mentoring responsibilities as required.
- Assist with QA Audits.
- Assist with Policy and Procedural reviews and development.
- Uphold the SPSP Quality Assurance Policy.
Skills
Academic and Professional Qualifications (minimum)
- Technical qualifications or diploma in the relevant craft/subject.
- Assessor (A1 or equivalent) Award by Awarding Body.
- Certified in specific area of expertise: Heavy Equipment, Cranes and/or Rigging.
- Fluent in English. (Reading/Writing)
- Knowledge Microsoft Office Programs to intermediate level.
Professional Experience (minimum)
- Minimum of 5 years Industrial experience of specific role.
- 3 years of experience as instructor/teacher.
- 3 years of experience in assessing/assessment role.
- Knowledge of Training/Assessment development would be an advantage.
